I can only compliment on this one. The rooms are well appointed, kitchen, bathroom and living.
It really is a home away from home.

For pleasure it was a location to die for, close enough to Salamanca (100m at most) yet far enough to be peaceful.
I would stay here for business also, high speed wifi and close to the city.

Location and rooms dealt with, the staff or should I say owners Trevor and daughter Bec went above and beyond.

We stayed only for one night and we loved it. Beautifully presented one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the lounge area – so great for a coupla gals (Apt 62A) Very well equipped and great layout – the location was excellent.

Portsea place definitely got the double thumbs up from us. Extra big thank you to Trevor who really did go the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable.

We loved this hotel. It has a superb location, just a short stroll down to Salamanca Place, the Harbour, ferry to Mona and the superb Taste of Tasmania.
Our twin beds were King Singles, so much nicer than singles, decor was lovely, kitchen, although small, had everything we needed. We were called to confirm check in time as there is no reception, that was easy. Parking and wifi both available and free onsite, good value for money, we would happily stay there again.
